Randy Shell has over 30 years of local commercial real estate expertise, which began shortly after graduating from Michigan State University. Armed with a degree in Business Finance, he moved to Scottsdale where his career in commercial real estate flourished.

As the sole retail leasing representative for an upscale retail project in North Scottsdale, Randy quickly proved his abilities during one of Arizona’s more difficult economic times. Motivated by his early success, Randy joined a local brokerage firm as a Real Estate Leasing and Sales Representative. It was here when Randy’s career went into high gear, as exclusive real estate professional for a Mid-West money management firm seeking real estate opportunities within the Scottsdale Airpark business park. Over the next few years, Randy identified target acquisitions, negotiated contracts, assisting in acquisition financing, provided and oversaw due diligence and managed the ultimate closing of these transactions. Subsequent to closing, Randy was instrumental in leasing and tenant retention of these properties.

After several years of handling hundreds of sales and leasing transactions, Randy obtained his Real Estate Broker’s license where he became the Designated Broker/Vice President of another local real estate company. It was here that Randy propelled himself as one of the top Real Estate Professionals in the Phoenix Metro Area.

In 2002, Randy decided to form Shell Commercial, a full service commercial brokerage company. Over the first few years, Randy has hand selected professionals to join Shell Commercial and currently has three full time real estate professionals and two administrative staff members, all valued members of Shell Commercial. Randy has never believed that ‘bigger is better’ and values the attention that his boutique company and agents provide their clients.

In 2005, Randy, along with a few partners, started acquiring land and developing multi-tenant flex industrial properties in the McDowell Mountain Business Park, where Randy’s office is today. From Randy’s broad perspective as Broker, Owner, and Developer, he can professionally consult his clients on their commercial real estate marketplace needs.

Randy and his wife Laura Shell reside in North Scottsdale and have two grown children, Megan and Matthew. Megan, now a CPA, earned her Master's Degree in accounting, and Matthew, who has followed in his dad's footsteps in commercial real estate, graduated from USC Marshall School of Business.
